The illustrator

Bodil Jane designed the illustration of the Grow&Bloom collection.

Bodil was already quite famous when we approached her and by now she is a big name in her field worldwide, working for big brands like Unicef, The New York Times and Van Gogh Museum among others. We feel so lucky to have worked with her! Besides her being very nice and her obvious talent she is also a real business woman. She was the one that taught us on how to appropriately use the work of artists. We loved the Grow & Bloom illustration she made so much we wanted to put it on just about everything, also in bell jars and on our cargo bike. But usage of any artwork with intellectual property has limits. We were happy with this lesson because our first goal is to appreciate and promote the work of others (and of course have beautiful distinctively packaging)

Bodil her work is very recognisable by the use of colour and detail. She often draws inspiration from botanic gardens, a perfect fit for our Grow & Bloom Collection.
