YOU ROCK MY WORLD
After reading and learning a lot about the power of different gemstones,
we made designs with combinations of stones that empower mothers in different virtues
like patience, confidence, intuition, harmony and love and support their well-being
like a clear mind, hormonal balance and (female) energy.
Our focus is to design aesthetically beautiful pieces while considering
the beneficial powers of the gemstones and let them work in our advantage.
During our research we found out that kids experience the subtle energies of crystals quite
easily and therefore it is adviced for kids not to wear multiple stones at the same time.
The illustrator
Cebine designed the illustration of the Gemstone collection.
It was Cebine who reached out to us by sending an e-mail if we were interested in working together. At that time we were busy with so many other things but Cebines’ artwork was so different from the styles
we had been working with it stuck in our mind and after some time we got in touch again.
The fine detail in her work is stunning. Her personal favourite subject is nature and since ‘gemstones’ are some of natures prettiest pieces of ‘work’ we thought it would be a perfect combination.
We are very happy with the end result using different techniques, from coarse to very refined. This also shows very nicely the process from rough gemstones to polished end results in a piece of jewelry.
